Allergen Notice
Please read before ordering
Our bakery is not allergen-free. Everything we make — cakes, pastries, cookies, and breads — is prepared and decorated in one kitchen that handles wheat, eggs, milk and other dairy, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and more.
Even an item not listed as containing a given ingredient may come into contact with it, so we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free of any allergen.
If you or your guests have a food allergy or sensitivity, please call us at (718) 373-3700 before ordering so we can go over your options. All orders are placed at the customer's discretion.
Store Policies
Ordering, deposits & pickup
Ordering. Custom and celebration cakes should be ordered in advance. For large or event orders, please contact us to confirm timing and details — these may require a quick consultation.
Deposits & payment. A deposit of 50% or more of the total cost confirms and holds your reservation. The deposit is refundable in full 30 or more days before the event, minus a $45 transaction fee for consultation services rendered. The remainder of payment is due no later than 7 days before the event. Late or no payment is subject to cancellation.
Cancellations. Cancellations received on or within 14 days of the event may not be eligible for a refund, and a store credit will be issued instead.
Paying online. Orders paid by card on this website are charged in full at checkout through Square and are confirmed right away. Cash orders are held as pending and paid in full in store at pickup.
Pickup. All orders are for in-store pickup at 2841 Harway Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11214. Please note: with all pre-orders, the customer must wait on line for pick-up.
Bread Plus reserves the right to exercise artistic license in order to guarantee the structural, visual, and creative integrity of a dessert.
Terms & Conditions
The fine print
These Terms govern your use of breadpluscakes.com and our online ordering (the “Site”), operated by Bread Plus Bakery (“Bread Plus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) from 2841 Harway Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11214. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms, along with our Store Policies and Allergen Notice above.
1. Who can order. The Site is intended for retail customers age 16 or older. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are old enough to place the order.
2. Orders & acceptance. All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. Submitting an order does not guarantee fulfillment — we’ll contact you if an item or date isn’t available, especially for short-notice or custom orders. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or modify any order at our discretion.
3. Order accuracy. You are responsible for the details you submit — flavors, inscription and spelling, pickup date and time, and contact information. Please review your confirmation carefully; we are not responsible for errors in the information you provide.
4. Pricing & payment. Prices shown at the time of ordering apply to that order and may change over time. Card payments are processed securely by Square; we do not see or store your full card number. Cash orders are held as pending and paid in full in store at pickup.
5. Deposits, cancellations & refunds. Custom and event orders are governed by the deposit, cancellation, and refund terms in our Store Policies above.
6. Pickup, inspection & product quality. All orders are for in-store pickup, and with all pre-orders the customer must wait on line for pick-up. Because everything is freshly made and perishable, please inspect your order at pickup. By accepting your order you confirm it is in satisfactory condition; Bread Plus is not responsible for damage, defects, or dissatisfaction reported after the order has left the premises. If something isn’t right, tell us at pickup and we’ll work with you in good faith.
7. Handmade products & artistic license. Every item is made by hand, so the finished product may vary slightly from photographs. Bread Plus reserves the right to exercise artistic license to guarantee the structural, visual, and creative integrity of a dessert.
8. Communications. When you place an order, we may contact you by email or phone about that order. These are transactional messages about your order, not marketing.
9. Acceptable use. You agree not to use the Site to break any law, place fraudulent orders, impersonate another person, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
10. Intellectual property. The Site, including its design, text, images, and software, is owned by Bread Plus or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without our written permission.
11. Disclaimer of warranties. The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, except as required by applicable consumer-protection law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bread Plus’s total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York.
14. Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below shows when. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
